Porter founder Robert Deluce looking super happy standing in front of one of his planes (background). I like this one.

Toronto wedding & lifestyle photography
It’s that time of year again, when the frosty air turns our noses and fingertips into icicles, but there’s still a warmth in our hearts as we look forward to the upcoming quality time with our loved ones.
From our home to yours, my hubby Kiron and I wish you a truly wonderful holiday season.
May it be filled with all good things.
Monika approached me with a really sweet idea: she and her brothers wanted to get some portraits taken as a special gift to their parents for Christmas.
They decided they would print one of the photos super large and frame it, and put the rest into a special album. (Can you guess which one they wanted to frame?)
What a beautifully sentimental gift, and wonderful way to celebrate sibling love. I’m sure their parents will be so touched.
It was a pleasure, guys!
Just booked a session with the super talented contortionist, Gabriella DeBartolo! (Get the title reference? har har.)
She’s performed on the runway for Canada’s Next Top Model, as well as at other high-profile events like a fundraising gala for CAMH and Friday Night Live at the ROM. (Yes, that’s her in the featured photo.)
She’s available to entertain at weddings and other events – check out the unbelievable things she can do at http://www.torontocontortionist.com/
Looking forward to seeing and photographing her in action!
I’ll be sure to share some ‘twisted’ photos from our shoot!
I first met Alyssa 6 months ago in chilly March to photograph her son Mason’s first birthday Cake Smash. I couldn’t believe how unbelievably cute this little boy was! With golden locks, big and soul-searching blue eyes and a completely endearing wide smile, Mason was somethin’ special.
Now, Alyssa’s got another special thing in her life – a fiance who truly seems to be utterly enamoured with her. When we were walking and casually discussing their relationship during our session he candidly mentioned the thought that crossed his mind when he met her: “Where have you been all my life?” It was the sweetest thing.
Alyssa and Bruno wanted me to take their engagement photos at a place they – and I – really love: Toronto’s Centre Island. There’s something so romantic about the whole experience of venturing to the island, exploring, breathing in that undoubtedly cleaner, fuller air amongst all the lush greenery and sounds of nature. Aaahhh… Let me just sit with that and smile for a moment…
… Gotta love that place.
Anyhow, we had a really great time on a Fall day that felt so much like Summer. The bright, happy sun was a reflection of the spirits of the two lovebirds in front of my lens.
They’re pretty smitten together. And the look Bruno gives Alyssa just melts my heart.
Here are a few words from Alyssa about how Bruno proposed:
‘We were laying down in bed relaxing, and he asked If we could use the computer because he had made me a slide show of pictures of me, him and my kids. I said sure, we can look at the slide show, so we sat in bed watching the slide show. There were very cute pictures of me and him and a couple of pictures of my children. At the very end he wrote on the slide show ‘would you marry me?’ He had placed the open ring box on the computer but I hadn’t seen it until then since the room was dark… and of course I said yes :)’
Thanks for letting me be a part of your special time, guys. It was a pleasure.
Meagan and Adriano had a sense they were meant for each other before they had even technically met – they found each other online and knew the chemistry was right. They began dating and on their 2-year anniversary Adriano proposed at dinner – with a unique twist.
His family owns a flatbread company that has its name in grocery stores across the country and naturally, since it’s so delicious, they planned to have some of it with their meal. Adriano saw an opportunity to surprise Meagan and he hid the ring in the flatbread box – she was genuinely surprised and elated!
I had the honour of photographing these two lovebirds this month, and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding on September 27th, 2013!
Without further adieu, the happy couple!

What a gorgeous Sunday for a family event!
Julian’s parents asked me to photograph the reception portion of their son Julian’s 1st Communion – what a nice day.
The sun shone brightly and it felt like Summer. The patio doors were wide open and guests enjoyed themselves both indoors and out. The kids were having a blast, and the adults were in a playful mood.
Definitely a great way to spend a Sunday!
Before things got messy.
This was hilarious – Mason just sat there for a while, arm up on the balloon as if it was an armrest on a recliner – looking at the cake, just chillin’. Finally, after some prompting from his mum, he dug in. And BOY did he dig in!
More photos from Mason’s 1st birthday cake smash to come!
