This Liberty village wedding marks my second time photographing at Caffino and I would absolutely welcome shooting there again! This corner of Liberty Village has so many interesting vignettes, from Distillery District-like red brick to overgrown vine walls, and expansive murals to secret-feeling alleys. And the Caffino Ristorante venue is a treasure unto itself – a unique restaurant with an eclectic mix of antique and Deco fixtures and furniture, this place has unmistakably carved out its own distinct presence unlike any other restaurant in the city.
The venue charms with its whimsical details and golden sunlight-filled main room, thanks to the large windows that wrap around the place. And there’s a secondary area by the marble and wood bar, as well as an outdoor patio that serves as the perfect dance floor underneath a twinkly light-lined tree that makes this city venue feel like an intimate backyard or European villa.
I could go on and on about this cool spot, but I also want to talk about Olivia and Rob.
They are so amazingly sweet, and their love story is even sweeter.
Almost a decade ago, Olivia decided she wanted to take private tennis lessons. She walked into the tennis club Rob ran and signed up with him for ten sessions. They never made it past the second session — but they certainly signed up for so much more!
They planned such a memorable wedding – so full of personal thoughtful touches.
P.S. This wedding was selected to be featured on a major wedding blog – stay tuned on the Facebook page for the reveal when it’s up!
