I won’t say much more just yet, but I will share a few little sneak peeks – stay tuned for more! Knollwood Golf Club Wedding – Ashley & Matt
Y’all. Ashley and Matt are awesome. They and their family are so amazingly silly and fun. They also wear their hearts on their sleeves – in the best kind of way. When they are ecstatic, you can expect happy tears. Ah, the happy tears. The speeches were hilarious as we were reminded to look around the room and just see how many times certain family members were crying. We all laughed so hard. I love that this wedding was infused with so much of this couple’s personality. They know how to have a great time, and their save the dates and programs showcased their humour. (You can see them in… Keep Reading
Cambridge Mill Wedding – Melody & Darren
Melody and Darren’s wedding day was graced with the most intense rainstorm ever. (Ok not ‘ever’, but it was serious!) Maybe some of you remember some of the crazy rain we had this Summer – buckets of water an inch deep on the ground, wind that flipped umbrellas inside out and if at your back pushed you along to walk a bit faster, and cool temperatures that made you want a sweater. But, despite these things, this wedding day turned out to be so warm, lovely, and wonderful. This couple and their family are super sweet and so much fun, and everyone remained in such great spirits for this happy… Keep Reading
Niagara Wedding at Pillar and Post Hotel
Marissa and Sean are just cute as a button. Their love is so, so sweet. When they speak to each other, not only do you hear the words they say, but you witness them expressing from their heart. Truly – you can see that they are connected on a soul-level. There is a deepness about their partnership that is so moving. Their wedding occurred just as Fall was ending – The Pillar and Post Hotel had their halls decked with a gigantic, magical Christmas tree, which made the day feel all the more special. Here are some snaps from these high school sweethearts’ Niagara-on-the-Lake wedding <3 (And check out the… Keep Reading
Ontario Cottage Wedding – Emily & Matt
Emily and Matt had such a lovely Ontario cottage wedding – they got married at her parents’ home in Creemore, Ontario. I love the idea of getting married at a place that has such significance to a family. Nestled amongst the tall pines on the big day were tents, as some of their guests camped out there the night before. How cool is that? The scenery was just phenomenal – Emily’s mom’s gardening prowess meant colourful blooms and winding vines caressed the landscape. Emily’s aunt lent her floral arrangement skills to create the centrepieces in their outdoor tent reception. The vibe of the day, though completely exciting, was also relaxed and… Keep Reading
McMichael Art Gallery Wedding – Isabella & Lukas
McMichael Art Gallery Wedding High school sweethearts Isabella and Lukas had the most beautiful wedding at the McMichael Art Collection. Not only is it an incredibly unique place to get married (how neat is it that they got married in an actual gallery?), but the surrounding forested area was just magical. The gallery is surrounded by such lovely trails, and some very unique sites – 6 of the 10 Group of 7 artists are actually buried there, and Tom Thomson’s actual shack where he painted his famous work was transported there! We had to take some photos by that very cool piece of history. The bond these two share is… Keep Reading
Wedding at The Manor – Chloë & Andrew
Chloë & Andrew had their wedding at The Manor in Kettleby Ontario at the very edge of Summer – when the leaves were still green but the temperatures had cooled. Though it rained that day, the cloud cover acted like a big, natural softbox which was *amazing* for their photos. They had a modern colour scheme was subtly echoed everywhere – from their invitation suite to their table linens to the polkadots on his pocket square, and gold belts for the bridesmaids (cool!)… they certainly have a keen eye for attention to detail. What was even more unique than their bold choice to use black as her main colour was… Keep Reading
Canoe Restaurant Wedding – Catherine & Alex
Canoe Restaurant Wedding They got married atop the city. Canoe Restaurant sits on the 54th floor of Toronto’s TD Bank Tower, above the city’s tallest skyscrapers, with a sunset view that is out of this world. We circled the neighbourhood and found romance amidst the bustling streets and office buildings, pausing to document photography their portraits in some of the city’s unique and interesting backdrops. Some of this included graffiti, church parks and even some metal cow sculptures – we embraced where we were and really relished how different their wedding photos would look. Their wedding ceremony took place in a room adjacent to the main dining room with a… Keep Reading
