Yeah, Baby!
This holiday I received some beautiful news: Christa & Jorden, a couple whose wedding I photographed last Summer on July 5th, 2013, are expecting their first little one this July 2nd! Warmest congratulations, you two! I’m so excited for you, and your child will be absolutely blessed to enter a home filled with so much love.
Season’s Greetings!
It’s that time of year again, when the frosty air turns our noses and fingertips into icicles, but there’s still a warmth in our hearts as we look forward to the upcoming quality time with our loved ones. From our home to yours, my hubby Kiron and I wish you a truly wonderful holiday season. May it be filled with all good things.
Live, Laugh, Love. And worry less.
“I’m feeling too fat to be photographed…” … Unfortunately, many of us say or think this all too often. I came across this moving read this morning (link below). ‘I nearly left this earth with no physical evidence of the goofy, wide open and loud love I have for my life, my husband, my family and friends.’ – A sobering reminder that we need to be easier on ourselves and allow ourselves to enjoy this life that we’re so fortunate to have (without worrying so much about how we look while doing it – indeed, you look beautiful to others!). As a photographer I aim to get the most ‘flattering’… Keep Reading
The Giacca Kids – Family Session
Monika approached me with a really sweet idea: she and her brothers wanted to get some portraits taken as a special gift to their parents for Christmas. They decided they would print one of the photos super large and frame it, and put the rest into a special album. (Can you guess which one they wanted to frame?) What a beautifully sentimental gift, and wonderful way to celebrate sibling love. I’m sure their parents will be so touched. It was a pleasure, guys!
Julian’s 1st Communion
What a gorgeous Sunday for a family event! Julian’s parents asked me to photograph the reception portion of their son Julian’s 1st Communion – what a nice day. The sun shone brightly and it felt like Summer. The patio doors were wide open and guests enjoyed themselves both indoors and out. The kids were having a blast, and the adults were in a playful mood. Definitely a great way to spend a Sunday!
Mason’s 1st Birthday – Sneak Peek!
Hey y’all! My goodness, I met the *cutest* baby boy today for a photo session celebrating his first birthday. Here’s a sneak peek; full blog post (with a cake smash!!) to follow!
Ariana & Jamie – Fall Family Fun
Ariana wanted to do a shoot with her son Jamie at the height of the colourful Autumn season, and we had fun frolicking about in the forest, marveling at the stunning Fall colours. I had so much fun hanging out with this wonderful, abundantly energetic pair. Between frequent kisses and hugs, and many impromptu play fights, it was easy to see that these two share a very special bond.
