Riverdale Park Engagement Photos They waited until the month before their wedding to do their engagement session for a special reason – their braces were coming off! Both of them had braces and they wanted to show off their newly straight (and we joked, slippery-feeling) pearly whites. Gotta hand it to their orthodontist, their smiles were ACE! Maria reached out the week of her wedding and told me her 99 year old grandfather, who she hoped would walk her down the aisle, had fallen ill and would not be able to attend the wedding. This stylish, fun, sweet pair has been together almost a decade. They had a relaxed, totally awesome downtown Toronto wedding at Berkeley Events’ Airship 37. This was my very first time photographing an Indian wedding – little did I know I was in for such a treat. So many vibrant colours and beautiful traditions! Because Jeff comes from a different background, the symbolism of each step of the ceremony was explained which helped to really appreciate how beautiful the rituals truly are.
