Such good humour – even after red wine spilled on her dress! Kelsey and Nico fill my heart right up. They are two of the sweetest, kindest people you will ever meet. I feel very lucky that they invited me to witness and document the resounding love they share. They planned an incredibly charming Hamilton Lakeview wedding. The blues of the water were echoed in the bridesmaids dresses, bride’s shoes, reception room colour and touches, and their twinkly blue eyes. They are so easy-going, and their wedding had a very relaxed vibe – right down to climbing on the wave-splashed rocks at sunset! The historic site where they held their ceremony and… Keep Reading

Toronto Family Photography – The Avis Family
I recently reconnected with my grade 7 Science teacher, and she’s been such a sweet and enthusiastic fan of my work. This family came to me as a gift from her – Michael, the father, was actually also a student of hers! How nice is it that she’s staying in touch and showing such support for her former students? Around about age 2, it seems kiddos LOVE the fact that they can run. Which means they don’t want to sit still for photos! I can’t blame them – Running and exploring is waaay more fun. So, I move around with them, and inevitably when they smile or make an awesome face at… Keep Reading
Toronto Family Photographer – Cedarvale Ravine
As a Toronto family photographer I get to meet and spend time with some really special people who fill my heart right up. The amount of love that radiates from parents for their children is unparalleled – it makes me well up just thinking about it – it’s just so beautiful. And the care-free, unabashed playfulness and massive smiles from the kids is somethin’ else. Though I primarily photograph weddings, a big part of why I do what I do is to document the joy and love in life – so naturally families have to be a part of that! I was so excited when Allyson and Stacey contacted me for… Keep Reading
Liberty Village Wedding – Olivia & Rob
This Liberty village wedding marks my second time photographing at Caffino and I would absolutely welcome shooting there again! This corner of Liberty Village has so many interesting vignettes, from Distillery District-like red brick to overgrown vine walls, and expansive murals to secret-feeling alleys. And the Caffino Ristorante venue is a treasure unto itself – a unique restaurant with an eclectic mix of antique and Deco fixtures and furniture, this place has unmistakably carved out its own distinct presence unlike any other restaurant in the city. The venue charms with its whimsical details and golden sunlight-filled main room, thanks to the large windows that wrap around the place. And there’s a secondary… Keep Reading
Ancaster Mill Wedding – Meghan & Matt
Ancaster Mill wedding photography is an absolute breeze – there are so many unique and gorgeous spots to take photos! Oh, this wedding. This wedding was just full of heart. I don’t know how else to say it – Any time I think about this day my heart just fills right up and I feel all warm and fuzzy. Meghan and Matt had a beautiful Ancaster Mill wedding near Hamilton, Ontario. It was raining in and out throughout the early part of the day, but the skies opened up 15 minutes before the ceremony. There were huge sighs of relief! They were so happy to have their dream outdoor ceremony in such a magnificent… Keep Reading
Berkeley Church Wedding – Nikki & Andrew
Berkeley Church wedding photos are pretty unique – This venue is an old church converted into a super interesting place to hold a wedding! There’s an upper-level balcony for the ceremony that overlooks the reception area. Different than any place I’d ever seen before with mezzanine seating and twinkle lights strung along the open view downstairs. And stained glass windows let in warm, glowing sunshine. A very cool spot. You may remember these two from their super sweet engagement session at University of Guelph, where they first met. These two are super fun, free-spirited people who are a blast to hang around with and photograph. Not only are they completely *beeyoootiful* people,… Keep Reading
Ontario Cottage Engagement Session
Ooh, I was so excited to shoot this Ontario cottage engagement session! There’s nothing quite like a visit to the cottage. As someone who lives in the bustling, often smoggy city of Toronto (which I absolutely love, don’t get me wrong!), the clear, fresh air that comes with vast expanses of nature is invigorating. Pair that with the relaxed, care-free vibe that you can’t help but adopt in such a magnificently beautiful place, and you have a recipe for a great time. Emily and Matt are having their wedding at Emily’s parents’ home/’cottage’ near Creemore, Ontario, and we decided to take some engagement photos as we explored the property in… Keep Reading
Punta Cana Destination Wedding – May & Kareem
I had the absolute pleasure of photographing May & Kareem’s Punta Cana Destination wedding at Barcelo Bavaro Beach, Dominican Republic this June. These two. every time I think about them my heart grows three sizes. I can’t quite explain just how much May’s smile lights up the room – You’ll see what I mean in the photos. She’s got a quality about her that is remarkably inviting. Kareem is so kind and sweet, and it’s clear he and May have something special. (You may remember their cozy Winter engagement session – just *slightly* different climate than their wedding… :P) I brought my husband Kiron as my assistant to this one, and we… Keep Reading
Toronto Island Engagement Session
Xanthi and I went to high school together, so this Toronto Island engagement session was extra special. When she messaged me to let me know she and Mani got engaged I was so thrilled for them! When she asked if I’d photograph their engagement photos for their public engagement reveal I was beyond excited. We chose to shoot their photos on Centre Island because of the wonderful variety of locations it offers – beach, nature, farm, and Centreville! Though Centreville was closed, it was so much fun walking around and reminiscing about the place we’d visited as kids. I’ll be honest, it made me want to go back when it opens again to go… Keep Reading
